Dynamic, a great year for Oregon Pinot and this is one of the best. “Ripe dark berries, cherry cola, licorice and a hint of potpourri on the deeply perfumed nose. Smooth and expansive on the palate, offering pliant, spice-tinged boysenberry, cherry liqueur and floral pastille flavors complemented by a smoky mineral flourish. The cherry character carries through the long, gently tannic finish, which echoes the licorice note. 20% new oak.” Vinous
